Travel and Hobbies

Business Travel

I have been very fortunate to be able to see and explore our world throughout my career. As great as those experiences have been I am even happier that I have had the opportunity to work with (and in some instances become life long friends) with people from around the globe. I have been lucky to work across Europe as well as Asia and Australia. Being immersed in another culture, seeing how they live life and learning to accept all of the differences in our world is an enlightening and wonderful thing. Besides simply having fun I gained a great deal of tolerance and patience when working with others (even fellow Americans), and vastly improved my abilities to communicate.

Personal Travel

Danielle and I are very similar in our interests, which makes traveling decisions very easy. We have traveled the Caribbean, are lucky to have Danielle’s father living in Florida and his wife’s family in Colombia. We love to head out west snowboarding as well as hit the woods within our home state of Wisconsin. Having children tends to change your vacation patterns but our girls are now old enough that they are becoming a regular part of the fun as well.

My Hobbies

Unless this is the first section of my website you have visited, it is pretty obvious that the primary passion of my life is water sports. Beyond that I love almost any outdoor activity: scuba diving, snowboarding, camping, sky diving, hiking or just having a beer on an outside patio. I enjoy woodworking and probably have more hours reading books (I am a SciFi geek but also love history) than just about any other activity in life.
