While a personal project, completely remodeling our first home together is one which I am extremely proud of. A 1922 bungalow in Wauwatosa, the last update to the house had been somewhere around the time of the disco ball.

I renovated the home from top to bottom, inside and out. While I hired out for a few of the items most of the work I completed on my own with a little help from my friends. It is impossible to summarize the amount of work we put into this house over a 5 year period, but an abbreviated list is:

• Demolished the entire 2nd floor, installing a master bedroom and master bath.
• Built a detached 2 car garage.
• Replaced all electrical wiring, while also running data and installing a whole house audio system.
• Removed every piece of plumbing in the house, replacing with either copper or pex.
• Built custom cabinets for the bathroom and custom woodworking throughout the house.
• Waterproofed and floored a nearly 100 year old basement.
